The Spa-Francorchamps circuit, located in Belgium, has been a mecca for motorsports since its creation in 1921. Initially laid out on public roads, it was remodeled between 1979 and 1983 to reach its current configuration of 7.004 km. Prized by motorcyclists for its demanding layout nestled in the heart of the Ardennes, Spa enjoys a mythical reputation. The atmosphere of the track days is electric, with a passionate and international audience, a spacious paddock and strong camaraderie between participants. Expect sessions in all weather conditions!

Characteristics of the Spa Francorchamps Track

The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is 7 km of asphalt with an elevation change of 104 meters. Its layout, which is run clockwise, includes 19 turns (10 left, 9 right) and a 1500 meter straight. The track width is 8 meters.

Riding tips: For a first track day, approach Eau Rouge cautiously in full trajectory to aim for the apex of the Raidillon without over-braking. At La Source, brake late but stay wide at the entrance to the hairpin for a smooth exit. Avoid excessive attacks at Pouhon and Blanchimont where speeds are high; favor outside-inside trajectories to stabilize the bike. Attack the Kemmel straight after Les Combes once you find your rhythm.
