About Alméria
Giornata in pista moto al Circuito de Almería
Il Circuito de Almería, costruito dall'ex pilota di rally Nono García nel deserto di Tabernas in Andalusia, è diventato una destinazione imperdibile per i track day moto invernali. Il suo clima desertico offre condizioni di guida ideali da novembre a marzo, quando il resto d'Europa è sotto la pioggia. Il tracciato tecnico con i suoi importanti cambi di altitudine lo rende un circuito impegnativo ed emozionante. Ottima location dove girare a Almería per una giornata in circuito.
Caratteristiche del tracciato
Il circuito misura 4,03 km con 14 curve (8 a destra, 6 a sinistra) in senso orario. La pista in asfalto è larga 10 m con un dislivello di oltre 50 m, tra i più importanti della Spagna. Il rettilineo principale è di circa 900 m. La superficie è particolarmente abrasiva, offrendo un'aderenza elevata ma consumando rapidamente gli pneumatici posteriori quando fa caldo. Il limite sonoro è di 108 dB.
Il complesso include anche il Circuit d'Andalucia (5,02 km), aggiunto a ovest nel 2016 con il contributo del pilota MotoGP Tito Rabat. Nel 2018, l'estensione Iberia ha creato un tracciato combinato di 9,22 km, il 2° più lungo d'Europa dopo il Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Consigli di pilotaggio
Almería è un circuito di ritmo e fluidità. Le creste cieche (T5-T6, T7) richiedono un gas costante senza strappi: taglia il gas in cima e perderai aderenza. Lavora gli apex tardivi nella maggior parte delle curve. La frenata in discesa è la trappola principale: frena dritto e rilascia gradualmente inclinando la moto. La superficie abrasiva consuma rapidamente gli pneumatici posteriori: utilizza le termocoperte e dosa l'accelerazione in uscita di curva.

Il circuito si trova nel deserto di Tabernas, a 30 km a nord di Almería. L'aeroporto di Almería è il più vicino. Il sito è isolato: prevedi un alloggio a Tabernas o Almería. Il clima desertico garantisce condizioni asciutte quasi tutto l'anno.
