Il circuito di Lurcy-Lévis, situato nell'Allier, è un tracciato unico in Europa grazie alla sua linea retta di 1 500 metri di lunghezza e 18 metri di larghezza, costruita sull'ex pista di atterraggio dell'aerodromo di Lurcy-Lévis. Creato nel 1989, questo circuito modulabile di 2,6 km è utilizzato da team di Formula 1 (Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes) e da produttori di apparecchiature come Michelin per test aerodinamici e di velocità massima. Offre un ambiente sicuro per la giornata in pista moto con ampi spazi aperti nei campi.

Storia del circuito di Lurcy-Lévis

La storia del sito inizia nel 1931 con un meeting aereo sull'aerodromo di Lurcy-Lévis. Nel 1981, Roger Chaumat e Gilles Prenchère cercano terreni per sviluppare il sito. L'aeroclub è stato creato nel 1984, con il primo atterraggio nel 1985. Il circuito automobilistico è stato creato nel 1989 attorno alla pista di atterraggio, sfruttando la sua lunghezza e larghezza eccezionali per i test professionali. Recentemente riasfaltato, il circuito offre oggi un rivestimento con un grip ottimale.

Tracciato e caratteristiche tecniche

Il circuito di Lurcy-Lévis propone diverse configurazioni modulabili: circuito scuola (1,1-1,3 km), circuito ovest (1,3 km), gran circuito (2,6 km) e grandissimo circuito (4,2 km). La pista è larga 18 metri sulla linea retta principale e da 9 a 18 m a seconda delle zone. Il dislivello è di 10 metri e il limite sonoro di 95 dB. Il circuito può girare in entrambi i sensi.

Il tracciato comprende la lunga linea retta con paraboliche alle estremità, collegate da anelli articolati con curve veloci, tornanti e sequenze varie. Gli spazi aperti nei campi offrono la massima sicurezza, senza binari né ostacoli.

Consigli di guida: Approfitta della lunga linea retta per riscaldare le gomme prima della grande parabolica (curva 1) con un appoggio progressivo. La S delle curve 2-3 e il tornante 5-6 richiedono una buona gestione delle transizioni. Le curve lunghe mettono alla prova la stabilità della tua moto. Il tracciato può sembrare insolito all'inizio, prenditi il tempo per memorizzarlo.
