These Terms of Use define the rules for accessing and using the PlanTrackDay website. By creating an account or using the site, you unreservedly accept these terms.

Purpose of the Service

PlanTrackDay is an information and matchmaking platform dedicated to motorcycle track days. The site allows you to:

  • Browse a calendar of track day sessions in France and Europe
  • Discover circuits and track day organisers
  • Manage a rider profile (favourite circuits, bikes, lap times)
  • Connect sellers and buyers of track day places
  • Allow organisers to manage their events and participants

The service is provided free of charge. No commission is taken on transactions.

Registration and Account

Registration is free and open to any person of legal age. Users agree to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Each user is responsible for all actions taken from their account. In case of unauthorised use, the user must inform us immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these Terms, without notice or compensation.

Published Information

Information about track days (dates, prices, availability) is provided for informational purposes only. It partially comes from third-party sources (organiser websites) and may be incomplete or outdated.

PlanTrackDay does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. Users should verify details directly with the organiser before registering.

Place Resale

PlanTrackDay provides a matchmaking feature between sellers and buyers of track day places. In this regard:

  • PlanTrackDay is not a party to transactions between sellers and buyers. The site acts solely as a technical matchmaking intermediary.
  • PlanTrackDay does not guarantee the actual availability of the place, its transferability with the organiser, or the completion of the transaction.
  • Financial transactions take place directly between the parties, outside the platform. PlanTrackDay receives no commission and does not handle payments.
  • The seller is solely responsible for the validity of their place and the accuracy of information published in their listing.
  • The buyer is solely responsible for verifying with the organiser that the place transfer is accepted and registration conditions are met.

In case of a dispute between a seller and a buyer, PlanTrackDay cannot be held responsible and will not intervene in resolving the dispute.

When an organiser has enabled the "no markup" option, the resale price cannot exceed the original purchase price. Circumventing this rule may result in account suspension.

Organisers

Organisers who claim their page on PlanTrackDay are responsible for the accuracy of the information they publish (descriptions, prices, registration conditions).

Participant data entered by the organiser through the dashboard is their sole responsibility. Organisers agree to comply with applicable data protection regulations.

Limitation of Liability

PlanTrackDay is an information platform. The site does not replace track day organisers and cannot be held liable for:

  • The organisation, conduct, modification or cancellation of a track day
  • Any direct or indirect damage suffered during a track session
  • The non-completion of a place resale transaction
  • Temporary or permanent unavailability of the site
  • Data loss resulting from force majeure

Motorcycle track riding involves inherent risks. Each user is responsible for their own safety and must have the insurance and equipment required by the organiser.

Rules of Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Publish illegal, defamatory, insulting or discriminatory content
  • Use the site for unauthorised commercial purposes
  • Attempt to access other users' data without authorisation
  • Disrupt site operation through automated means (abusive scraping, spam, etc.)
  • Publish false resale listings or misleading information

Intellectual Property

All elements of the site (texts, images, source code, database) are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of substantial changes. Continued use of the site after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties shall endeavour to reach an amicable solution before referring to the competent courts.
