Informazioni su Andaloucia

Motorcycle Track Day at Circuit d'Andalucia

The Circuit d'Andalucia, inaugurated in 2016 in Tabernas in the Almería desert, was designed with the contribution of the 2014 Moto2 world champion Tito Rabat. Built west of the historic Almería circuit, it offers a modern and varied layout. In 2018, the two circuits were connected to create the 9.22 km Iberia layout, the 2nd longest in Europe after the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Track Characteristics

The circuit is 5.02 km long with 17 turns (9 right, 8 left) in a clockwise direction. The track is 12 m wide. Its 1,060 m straight is the longest in Spain. The layout mixes fast curves, technical sections and elevation changes with a spectacular downhill chicane. The sound limit is 105 dB.

Shorter configurations are available: 4 km and 2.2 km, allowing the track to be adapted to the level of the riders.

Riding Tips

The Circuit d'Andalucia is a professional-level track used by MotoGP and WorldSBK teams for winter testing. The downhill chicane requires absolute precision — clearances are limited there. The fast curves reward confidence and speed maintenance. The surface offers excellent grip, suitable for sustained attack. Like its neighbor Almería, the desert climate guarantees dry conditions almost all year round. Consider a track day booking here!

Access and Practical Information

The circuit is located in the Tabernas desert, 30 km north of Almería. It shares facilities with the adjacent Almería circuit but has its own pits and garages. Almería airport is the closest. Winter track days (January-March) are the most popular. Come ride at Circuit d'Andalucia!
