The TT Circuit Assen, located in the Netherlands, has been a mecca for motorcycle racing for decades. Created in 1955, it succeeded races on public roads that had been held since 1925. Although its layout was modified in 2006, from 7.7 km to 4.555 km, it has retained its fast and flowing character. Characteristics of the Assen track

The layout has 18 turns (12 right, 6 left) and is characterized by rapid changes of direction, tight high-speed turns and technical sections. The main straight is 487 meters long. It is surrounded by grass banks and grandstands offering good visibility.

Riding tips: Pay particular attention to the Strubbe and GT corners for late braking after the straight. Approach the rapid changes of direction in the initial spiral (5 turns) with caution. Favor smooth trajectories to maintain speed in the 12 right-hand turns, avoiding wide exits onto the narrow grass. Attack in the technical sections after mastering them, taking advantage of the high grip for frank accelerations.
