Motorcycle Track Day at the Brno Circuit
The Brno circuit, officially Automotodrom Brno Masaryk, has been a major motorsport venue since its inauguration in 1987. Built to replace the old road circuit, it was modernized in 1996 and continues to host prestigious events such as MotoGP and World Superbike. Renowned for its technical and undulating layout, Brno offers an exciting track day experience in a friendly atmosphere, with magnificent views from the grandstands surrounded by pine forest. The modern and well-equipped paddock contributes to an immersive experience, enhanced by the proximity of the city of Brno.
Brno Track Layout Characteristics
The Brno circuit stretches over 5.4 km of asphalt and is run counter-clockwise. With an elevation change of 73 meters, the track offers spectacular altitude changes. The track width is 15 meters. The theoretical maximum speed is 314 km/h.
Riding Tips: Pay particular attention to the downhill esses after the main straight. Maintain momentum without braking too early to properly approach the long curve that follows. Brake late at the entrance to the tight uphill turns to preserve speed on exit. Avoid cutting the bumps at full acceleration at the lowest point. Finally, attack hard on the two long straights and favor an outside-inside trajectory in the right-hand turns to maximize stability.
