About Cremona

Motorcycle Track Day at Cremona Circuit

The Cremona Circuit, inaugurated in 2011 in San Martino del Lago, Lombardy, was designed by the brothers Marzio and Alessandro Canevarolo. The circuit has experienced a remarkable rise: after an investment of 4 million euros in 2021 (extension by Jarno Zaffelli) and 9 million in 2024, it obtained FIM Grade B homologation for WorldSBK (2024-2028). The track now measures 3.77 km with a capacity of 20,000 spectators.

Track Characteristics

The circuit is 3.77 km long with 11 turns (5 right, 6 left) in an anti-clockwise direction. The track is 13 m wide. The rear straight of almost 1 km is unique in Italy, allowing speeds of 300 km/h to be reached before the most demanding braking zone on the circuit (T11). The "San Martino" section is a technical corkscrew signature of the track.

The original circuit (2011) was 3.45 km long. The 2021 extension added a new pit straight and corner complexes. The 2024 upgrade lengthened the track to 3.77 km with widened gravel traps and new grandstands.

Riding Tips

The circuit offers an interesting mix of fast, flowing curves and the long 1 km straight. Braking at T11 at the end of the straight is the most intense (braking load index 3/5). The San Martino corkscrew requires precision and commitment. The flat frame of the Po Valley means there is no elevation change to manage, simplifying adjustments.

Access and Practical Information

The circuit is located in San Martino del Lago, 30 km from Cremona and 1h30 from Milan. Milan Linate or Bergamo Orio al Serio airports are the most convenient. The circuit has an adjacent CIK karting track.
