About Geoparc
The Geoparc circuit: a unique complex in the Vosges
The Geoparc circuit is a multi-activity complex of 130 hectares located in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, in an exceptional natural setting between lakes and forests. Its history began spectacularly: the site was inaugurated on March 15, 2005 during the Superfinal of the Trophée Andros on its ice circuit, in front of 20,000 spectators. The initial asphalt track of 1,600 meters was then extended to 2,500 meters in 2007. Approved by FFSA and FFM, the circuit offers up to 10 track configurations and can run in both directions of rotation — a rare feature in France.
Track and characteristics of the Geoparc circuit
The main track of the Geoparc circuit extends over 2.5 km with a track width of 10 to 12 meters. Several configurations are possible: 2.1 km, 2 x 1.3 km (two simultaneous independent circuits), and up to 10 variants including a children's track of approximately 1 km. The circuit can run in both directions, offering a rare variety that forces drivers to rediscover the track. The asphalt surface offers excellent grip, with a sound limit of 95 dB and an Alfano field for timing.
Driving tips at the Geoparc circuit
Geoparc is a technical and fast track, with long straights followed by all types of corners. The possibility of turning in both directions radically changes the sensations and reference points — take the opportunity to get out of your comfort zone. The limited number of participants (often 20 per day) guarantees optimal track time and reduces the risk of congestion on the track. The best known time on the full track is 1'23"00 in a Peugeot 106 XSi 115 hp.
Access to the Geoparc circuit
The circuit is located rue Dieudonné Dubois, 88100 Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. Accessible via the A4 then the RN59 towards Saint-Dié. Allow approximately 1 hour from Strasbourg, 45 minutes from Colmar or Nancy, and close to Épinal and Sélestat. The Saint-Dié SNCF station (Strasbourg-Saint-Dié line) allows access by train. GPS coordinates: 48.300712, 6.918716.
Why ride at the Geoparc circuit?
The Geoparc circuit stands out for its unique natural setting — 130 hectares between lakes and Vosges forests — and its exceptional infrastructure: covered paddock of 3,000 m², pedestrian bridge offering a full view of the circuit, restaurant and lounge bar. The possibility of riding in both directions, the 10 track configurations and the limited number of participants make each track day an exclusive experience. The complex also includes an ice circuit (used for the Trophée Andros), a 5-hectare 4x4 track and a 600 m karting circuit.
