About Magione
Motorcycle Track Day at Magione
The Autodromo dell'Umbria di Magione, inaugurated on April 7, 1973, was built by members of the Scuderia Carpine on private land in the Bacanella valley, near Perugia. This technical circuit of 2.51 km is a reference for motorcycle track days in central Italy. The Curva del Muro and the Tornantino 180° hairpin are the signature sections of the track.
Track Characteristics
The circuit is 2.51 km long with 11 turns (7 right, 4 left) in a clockwise direction. The track is 11 m wide. The main straight of 750 m offers a good acceleration zone. The winding and technical layout emphasizes driving precision and motorcycle handling. The sound limit is 100 dB.
Riding Tips
Magione is a pure riding circuit where cornering technique takes precedence over power. The Tornantino 180° hairpin is the slowest turn — work on trail braking for a clean exit. The Curva del Muro requires courage and precision. The winding layout is easy to memorize and ideal for technical progression. Book your track day booking to ride at Magione!
