The Mirecourt Circuit: A New Generation Track in the Vosges

The circuit de Mirecourt, located in Juvaincourt in the Vosges, is the newest of the major French circuits. Inaugurated on June 29, 2023, this 3.75 km track was designed as a new generation circuit with exceptionally grippy asphalt, 14 technical turns, and a 750 m straight where motorcycles reach 300 km/h. FFM approved, it has quickly established itself as a major destination for motorcycle track day in eastern France.

History of the Mirecourt Circuit

The circuit de Mirecourt is a family project led by Pierre and Damien Levorato, father and son, entrepreneurs passionate about motorsports. The project started in 2017 on the Mirecourt aeropole, with construction from 2019 to 2023. The official opening took place on June 29, 2023. The circuit was immediately approved by the FFM and quickly attracted international organizers such as Heppler-Racedays, Trackdays.be, and de Radiguès Rider School.

Track Layout and Technical Characteristics

The layout of the circuit de Mirecourt extends over 3.75 km with 14 varied turns: fast, very fast, slow, and technical. The track, 12 meters wide, is made of specific asphalt without joints, offering exceptional grip. The 750-meter straight allows top speeds of 300 km/h. The track is hilly with plunging turns that add to the technicality.

The safe run-off areas and gravel traps are positioned according to FFM standards. The sound limit is 95 dB with mandatory environmental mats for motorcycles.

Riding Tips: Identify your reference points in the mix of fast and technical curves. The exceptional grip of the asphalt allows you to be confident entering corners, but pay attention to the fast-to-slow transition zones. Brake early in the technical curves and exploit the fast sections where the run-off areas are generous. The hilly layout requires anticipation in the plunging turns.

The circuit is located on the Aéropôle Sud Lorraine, Juvaincourt (88500), in the Vosges. Access: 50 km from Nancy, 1 hour from Metz, 1 hour 45 minutes from Dijon, 2 hours from Strasbourg. The paddock offers spacious 105 m² boxes with Wi-Fi, water, and electricity, as well as a catering area.
