About Modena
Motorcycle Track Day at the Autodromo di Modena
The Autodromo di Modena, inaugurated in 2011, is located in the heart of the Italian Motor Valley, home to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Ducati. This compact 2.07 km circuit was designed for car and motorcycle testing, driving courses, and track days. An extension project to 4.15 km with a 1 km straight has been approved in 2022.
Track Characteristics
The circuit is 2.07 km long with 11 turns in a clockwise direction. The track is 12 m wide. The straight is 400 m long (configurable into two straights by bypassing turn 5). The track offers elevation changes and varied turns — from fast curves to tight sequences. The sound limit is 98 dB.
Riding Tips
The short and technical circuit requires a sustained pace with frequent changes of direction. The 11 turns over 2 km create a dense layout. The possibility of configuring two layouts (with or without turn 5) offers variety. The 98 dB sound limit is strict.
Access and Practical Information
The circuit is in Marzaglia, 7 km from Modena. Bologna airport is 40 minutes away. The circuit has 21 pit boxes, Wi-Fi, telemetry, and an equipped paddock.
