About Monteblanco
Motorcycle Track Day at Circuito Monteblanco
Circuito Monteblanco, located between Seville and Huelva in Andalusia, stands out as the circuit with the most hours of sunshine in Europe. With its 26 possible track configurations and 12 combinations for simultaneous use of two tracks, it offers unique flexibility. The track was completely resurfaced in October 2023 to meet modern FIA standards. The circuit is used by Formula E and international car manufacturers for testing.
Track Characteristics
The main track (GP layout) measures 4.43 km with 18 turns (11 right, 7 left) in a clockwise direction. The track is 13 m wide (15 m on the main straight of 960 m). The sound limit is 105 dB.
Variant 2 (often used for motorcycle track days) measures 3.926 km with 15 turns. The circuit offers a mix of fast curves on the long straight, technical turns in the middle sector, and demanding sequences.
Riding Tips
The GP layout requires precision in the braking zones and fluidity when exiting turns. The 960 m straight is an area of intense acceleration before heavy braking. The technical middle sector rewards clean lines and fine throttle control. The new 2023 asphalt offers excellent grip. Be aware of the intense summer heat in Andalusia — favor the intermediate seasons.
Access and Practical Information
The circuit is located approximately 50 km from Seville, accessible from Seville airport. The facilities are FIA level with 24 equipped modular boxes, a medical center, an on-site gas station, a tire service, a restaurant, and surveillance by 27 CCTV cameras. A helipad is also available.
