About Nurburgring

Motorcycle Track Day at the Nurburgring Circuit

The Nurburgring, located in Germany, is more than just a circuit: it's a legend. Nicknamed the Green Hell, this track, inaugurated in 1927, particularly its 20.8 km Nordschleife with its 73 turns, has forged its reputation on its extreme difficulty and unforgiving demands. The atmosphere is unique, between pure adrenaline and absolute respect for the track. While motorcycle access was once more open, it is now mostly limited to organized track days to ensure the safety of all participants. Despite these restrictions, the experience of riding at the Nurburgring remains a must for any motorcycle enthusiast. Book your next motorcycle track day now!

Nurburgring Track Characteristics

The Nurburgring circuit is:

  • Location: Otto-Flimm-Straße, 53520 Nürburg, Germany
  • Length: 5.15 km
  • Rotation direction: Counter-clockwise
  • Surface type: Asphalt

Although some data such as the number of turns, elevation changes, track width, maximum speed and sound limit are not available, some elements should be noted. The Nordschleife is renowned for its 73 turns, significant elevation changes and tricky areas such as Flugplatz, where the motorcycle can take off. The Carrousels, banked concrete turns, should be approached with caution. Remember, overtaking is mandatory on the left, and the overtaken rider must signal their intention with their right turn signal. Approach Flugplatz with caution. Avoid the Carrousels at high speed to maintain rhythm.
