About Parcmotor Castelloli
Motorcycle Track Day at Parcmotor Castellolí
Parcmotor Castellolí, inaugurated in 2009 after 5 years of construction, is a 100-hectare motorsport complex 50 km from Barcelona. The track was designed with the contribution of Toni Elías, Álex Crivillé, and Carlos Checa, three legends of Spanish motorcycle racing. The complex was developed by the Catalan Motorcycling Federation and the Generalitat de Catalunya. It is FIA and FIM approved.
Track Characteristics
The circuit is 4.15 km long with 11 turns (7 right, 4 left) in a clockwise direction. The asphalt track is 12 m wide (14 m on the straight) with an elevation change of 28 m and slopes reaching 9%. The main straight is 625 m long. The sound limit is 102 dB.
The unique feature of the track is its figure-eight design with a two-level bridge, one of the few circuits in the world with such a vertical crossing. Blind crests and downhill entries require perfect knowledge of the track.
Riding Tips
Parcmotor rewards fluidity and precision rather than raw speed. Since the straights are short, corner exit speed is more important than top speed. The 9% slopes require fine control of the brakes and throttle. Blind crests require complete confidence in your lines — walk the track or study onboard videos before you ride. The circuit is particularly suited to 600cc-1000cc sport bikes. Consider a track day booking to ride at Parcmotor.
Access and Practical Information
The circuit is located in Castellolí, 35 minutes from Barcelona and 50 km from El-Prat Airport. Facilities include 14 garages of 72 m², two paddocks (10,000 and 4,000 m²), a medical center, a café, and Wi-Fi. Track days are organized by external providers (DK Racing, Phantom R, etc.).
