Motorcycle track day at Slovakiaring circuit
The Slovakiaring, located in Orechová Potôň, Slovakia, is a demanding circuit appreciated by riders. Inaugurated in 2009, it is the country's first permanent circuit, homologated FIA Grade 2 and FIM. Its technical and fast layout attracts both professional competitors and amateurs for friendly track days. The atmosphere is family-friendly, especially during track day events organized by specialists like Heppler-Racedays and EYBIS.
Slovakiaring track layout characteristics
The Slovakiaring extends over 5.92 km. The track, made of asphalt, is 12 meters wide, ensuring good safety conditions. The circuit offers 14 turns (7 right and 7 left). The 1.144 m straight is ideal for reaching high speeds. Artificial bumps add challenge and adrenaline to the riding experience.
Riding tips: Be aware of the four bumps that can cause unloading. Brake early before the technical turns, especially after the fast sections. Aim for the late apex in the fast turns to optimize your exit towards the straight. Avoid attacking too early at turn 9 (optional chicane). Use the width of the track to correct any slips.
