Moto Club du Circuit Paul Ricard: motorcycle track day organizer
The Moto Club du Circuit Paul Ricard, based in Le Castellet (83), was created in December 2011 by employees of the circuit and Jean-Pierre Bonato (Sunday Ride Classic). Their goal is to restore the motorcycle to its place on the Var circuit. They organize track day events, rides and TT outings, promoting a safe practice of motorsports. The club also participates in motorcycle events at the circuit and brings together different categories of motorcyclists: touring, track and vintage motorcycles. The friendly atmosphere is one of their strengths.
Supervision and services offered by Moto Club du Circuit Paul Ricard
The track day events begin with a mandatory briefing led by instructors such as Laurent Zanetto or Hervé Moineau. This is followed by 6 sessions of 20 minutes, for a total of 2 hours of riding on the 3.8 km configuration with chicane of the Circuit Paul Ricard. Participants are divided into 4 level groups: Beginner (>1'55), Intermediate (1'45-1'55), Advanced (1'40-1'45), and Rider (<1'40 with FFM NCO license or track record). The instructors adjust the categories according to each person's level. The meal is included in the registration. Accompanying persons can have lunch on site for 30€, which also includes entry.
